Tech giant Apple is poised to introduce the latest generation of AirPods alongside the unveiling of the new iPhone lineup on Tuesday night.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the forthcoming ‘AirPods 3’ will mark the next iteration of Apple’s popular AirPods earbuds, which received an update in March 2019.

Despite the introduction of AirPods 3, Kuo suggests that Apple will continue to offer the second-generation AirPods alongside the new models.

This indicates a potential scenario where AirPods 3 may be priced higher than the current models, which start at $159. Alternatively, Apple might reduce the price of AirPods 2 to align with the release of AirPods 3.

Rumors suggest that the new AirPods models will showcase a redesigned appearance resembling the shape of the current AirPods Pro, notably featuring shorter stems.

However, unlike the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, AirPods 3 are not anticipated to include active noise cancellation features.

Instead, AirPods 3 are expected to support head-tracking Spatial Audio, complementing the release of iOS 15, which enhances Dolby Atmos music with the head-tracking effect for both audio and video content.

Apart from AirPods, Apple enthusiasts can anticipate the unveiling of the iPhone 13 lineup and the Apple Watch Series 7, alongside new iterations of iPads and Macs.

The iPhone 13 lineup is expected to mirror the iPhone 12 family, featuring models ranging from the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini to the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in various screen sizes, ranging from 41mm to 45mm, catering to diverse user preferences and needs.
